Welcome to Jane’s Mammoth Condo
Well, I’m back...after my many years of pining for the pines.

I was lucky to live and work here back in the 70’s. It’s taken me just a few years to return but I’m back and loving the beauty, play, and rest this mountain retreat offers. I’m so happy to offer you and yours this great mountain getaway.

The town of Mammoth Lakes sits high in the rugged Sierra Nevada mountains of California. This spectacular area is dotted with pristine alpine lakes and lush forests. Mammoth is the ideal base from which to explore the scenic and historic treasures of the Eastern Sierras. Mono Lake, Bodie ghost town, Devil’s Postpile National Monument and Yosemite National Park are all within easy reach.

Mammoth is home to outdoor activities of every kind and for every season. Cast a line, play a round of golf, hike, ski, snowboard, or relax and renew in the clear mountain air. For breathtaking views, summer visitors can take a gondola ride to the Top of the Sierra Interpretive Center located at 11,053 feet. Throughout the summer months music fills the air with outdoor jazz and blues concerts, arts and crafts festivals and exciting sporting events. See Local Links & Weather for more information.

NOTICE: In 2022 California passed SB 54, the Plastic Pollution Prevention and Packaging Producer Responsibility Act. This regulates single use (less than 6 oz) shampoos, conditioners, soaps, cotton swabs and oral care products. Bar soaps are not allowed as they are in plastic packaging. The limit is for bathroom products so dish soaps are still provided in the kitchen.

I have large pump containers of shampoo, conditioner and soap but I never know what is there – I would love to hear from you if the containers are not there or nearly empty so I can have the replaced. Until I can get racks with refillable containers, you might be wise to bring your own.
